Coaches - we are excited to invite your team to compete at our annual NCTCA Invitational taking place on Saturday, December 12th at the Ocean Breeze Track Complex.

 

This will be the site of the New York State Championships starting in 2017 and will offer a great experience to your athletes. There is ample free parking for all buses within one block of the complex (you may drop off in front of the facility), along with seating for 2,500. The meet will be run with two throwing cages, two jumping pits, and two high jump mats. FAT Timing, a photographer, and a DJ will be on hand as well.

 

Remember that all proceeds from this meet go directly back to the athletes of Nassau County Track and Field (end of the season awards and dinner, senior athletic grants, NY State Championship hats/shirts, etc.)

 

NEW THIS YEAR:

1. Revised Order of Events: We are offering every event contested at the Conference and County Championships besides the 3200.

2. Cheaper Entry Fees: The blanket entry has decreased $100 in price from last year and $200 from previous years. Individual and relay entry prices for non-blanket entries have decreased as well.

3. New Facility: Ocean Breeze is a state of the art six-lane (when banked) track with ample facilities for all of the field events. There is a lower level avaliable for the athletes to warm-up as well. Stickers with athlete barcodes will also be provided for you once you arrive to the meet to save you from having to fill out 100's of index cards (cards will only be needed for the relays).

4. Direct Athletics and Declaration: All rosters must be entered onwww.directathletics.com by 12/5/2015 in order for barcoded stickers to be printed for the meet. Coaches also must e-mail me (michael.ringhauser@yahoo.com) stating an intention to compete so that the information can be forwarded to Ocean Breeze.
